Tokyo Japan -- Fall 2014

"We're going to Tokyo!"
"Why Tokyo?"
"Disney has this fabulous park there..."
"You're going all the way to Tokyo to go to Disneyland?!"
"No, we're going all the way to Tokyo to go to DisneySEA!"

Tokyo has 2 Disney parks: Disneyland, which is very similar to California's Disneyland, and DisneySea, which is a unique park, like no other in the world.  It is also the most expensive theme park ever built costing over 4 Billion dollars.  It now ranks #4 in annual attendance behind Disney World's Magic Kingdom, California's Disneyland, and Tokyo Disneyland.  Tokyo's Disneyland and DisneySea are the only Disney Parks not owned by Disney -- they are owned by The Oriental Land Compay.

For this Disneyphile, going to DisneySea is a dream come true!
My twelve year old daughter and I will spend 10 nights in the Tokyo area -- 3 nights in Asakusa, 4 nights near the Disney Parks and then 3 nights in Shinjuku.
